Coastal Babysitters | Coastal Babysitters was created in 2016 to provide Brisbane, Gold Coast and Byron Bay families and visitors to the area with a reliable, trustworthy babysitting service that enabled parents to feel comfortable accessing an established and convenient service that allowed them the luxury of time to themselves. Our carers are either mum’s themselves or have worked in childcare for at least three years and each sitter has undergoing Blue Card and Working With Children checks and obtained their First Aid and CPR certificate. |
Find a Babysitter | Find A Babysitter is the largest, most effective and affordable way to find a babysitter or nanny for your family in Australia. We are proud to be the Australian market leader, giving you a quality site with a range of helpful features. Find a Babysitter is a search database that allows you to search for a babysitter or nanny in your local area or post a job to have qualified and available babysitters and nannies respond to you. |
Baby Sitters Now | Baby Sitters Now is an online portal that connects parents with babysitters in your area. Baby Sitters Now is an Australian family business with children of our own. We have a talented team, our support is fast and friendly and we actively support some fantastic children’s charities. It’s Babysitting… better. |
Sittr | Sittr is Australia’s #1 babysitter app with pre-screened, trusted babysitters available on demand. Our comprehensive screening processes means that all babysitters have undergone a Photo Identity check and have a Working With Children Check, a government issued background check which includes a national criminal history check. Safety is our #1 priority. All babysitters have Senior First Aid training that includes management of Asthma and Anaphylaxis, so rest assured that they’ll know what to do in an emergency. |

Mount Tamborine |
The green behind the gold, a family drive to this mountain village is a lush, shady breather from the coast. Take your pick of hinterland hikes from the all-abilities-access Cedar Creek Falls track, to the more advanced Witches Falls and Sandy Creek circuits. If you’re looking for more bustle, explore the village where you’ll find quirky antiques, artwork, cafes and boutiques, and plenty of local personalities up for a friendly chat. For an out-of-this-world experience, take the Tamborine Mountain Glow Worm Tour through purpose-built caves that are home to thousands of spectacular glow-worms. Top tip: the kids will love a sweet treat and an iced chocolate from the Polish Place. And for the adults? The Polish Beer menu is hard to resist. |
Natural Bridge at Springbrook & Glow Worm Caves |
Just a few hours inland from the shoreline, Springbrook National Park is home to one of the most ethereal natural wonders in Queensland. Surprise your mini waterfall-chasers at dusk with Natural Bridge, a small waterfall that plunges into a glow-worm cave. It’s not suitable for prams, but the trail is easy enough that most two- and three-year-olds would be able to manage. |
O’Reilly’s Tree Top Walk |
Give the kids a bird’s-eye view of the rainforest on the picture-perfect O’Reilly’s Tree Top Walk in Lamington National Park.Suspended 15 metres above the ground in the rainforest canopy, the 180 metres of boardwalk will make them feel like lost-world explorers. The cherry on top? It’s free. |
